Fleet Management delivers 5000T Heavy Lift Vessel, a record-breaking offshore achievement in China
Fleet Management delivered a record-breaking offshore achievement in China, playing a crucial role in the supervision and delivery of the groundbreaking 5000T Heavy Lift Vessel.
The 5000T Heavy Lift Vessel is equipped with full rotation capability and a maximum lifting capacity of 5000 tons. As the largest achievement in offshore operations in China, this project demonstrated Fleet’s ability to manage complex maritime challenges, ensuring safe and efficient operations throughout the vessel’s development.
The vessel's advanced features include 10 automated anti-heeling pumps and eight anchor positioning winches, which provide unparalleled stability and precision during lifting operations. The DP2 system further enhances operational accuracy, enabling the vessel to remain fixed in position while handling heavy cargo. During sea trials, Fleet oversaw the successful completion of a 2500-ton loading test under full rotation conditions, marking a major milestone in offshore engineering for China.
Through close collaboration with Hua Xia Financial Leasing, Fleet's supervision ensured that any issues were resolved promptly during the construction and testing phases. By holding regular meetings and maintaining open communication, Fleet fostered a strong partnership with the vessel's owners, further strengthening trust and paving the way for future collaborations.
