Sathya Mandravanan oversees all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) activity across both our Tanker and Dry Divisions and serves as a Designated Person Ashore (DPA) alongside Ranvir Jatar. Joining Fleet in 2007, he is responsible for the effective implementation of the Company’s Safety Management System, overseeing incident investigation activity, as well as the verification and monitoring of all safety and pollution prevention activities.

Bringing his extensive maritime expertise to his role, Sathya had a 15-year seafaring career, achieving the rank of Master Mariner in 2000. He also worked as a Port Captain, Auditor, and Technical Superintendent at MSC Ship Management in Hong Kong. His seafaring experience spans a variety of ships, including general cargo, bulk carriers, and oil tankers. Sathya holds a Bachelor of Nautical Science from South Tyneside College in the UK and completed an Executive Education Programme at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School. A keen sports enthusiast, he enjoys tennis, playing cricket, and working out in the gym.
