Jagjit Singh
Director, Oil Tankers
Jagjit Singh joined Fleet in 2007 after a decade of sailing on oil and chemical tankers, including serving as Chief Engineer. Since transitioning onshore, Jagjit has built his career within Fleet’s Oil Tankers division, where he currently oversees a diverse fleet of oil and chemical tankers, working closely with a team of Group Managers and Superintendents. Jagjit establishes maintenance benchmarks and performance standards in collaboration with shipboard management teams to meet industry expectations. A strong advocate of teamwork, he focuses on building collaborative partnerships and is committed to continuous improvement, team development, and staying updated on industry developments to drive client value.
Jagjit holds a degree in Marine Engineering from the Directorate of Marine Engineering Training, now the Marine Engineering and Research Institute. He was awarded the prestigious “President’s Runner-Up Award” by the President of India for excellence in academics and technical aptitude. Jagjit has completed several professional development courses at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School, including Executive Education in Leadership and People Management, Strategic Financial Management, and Managerial Decision Making. An avid sportsman, he enjoys trekking and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
