Deep Sharma joined Fleet in 2005 as Finance Manager in our Singapore subsidiary, and now serves as the Group Financial Controller of The Caravel Group. In 2009, he moved to Hong Kong to lead the vessel accounting function at the Head Office and was promoted to General Manager - Finance in 2014. By 2015, he had advanced to his current role at the Group level. Deep oversees global finance, accounting, taxation, audits, and corporate compliance, and played a key role in the ERP implementation and digitalisation of Fleet’s Finance and Accounts division.

Before joining Fleet, Deep gained experience with accounting and audit firms in Mumbai, India, specialising in accounting, audit, taxation, finance, and risk management across various industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Lucknow and pursued Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In 1993, he achieved the highest marks in Accountancy in his State board exams. Deep enjoys reading about history, travelling with his family, and following the Indian Cricket Team.
